Worldwide collaboration, united for progress in Parkinson’s research
The GEoPD consortium unites researchers from over 60 sites worldwide to advance education, research, and translation in Parkinson’s disease. Organized into five cores, GEoPD fosters collaboration by sharing expertise and resources, supporting joint research projects, and connecting members through annual meetings.
Milan, Italy – 2024
19th Annual GEoPD Meeting | June 10–11, 2024
The meeting covered genetic and environmental factors in Parkinson’s disease, new treatment approaches, and links to Gaucher’s disease. Discussions also focused on future research directions and updates from the GP2 program.

10th Annual GEoPD Meeting | October 7–10, 2015
The 10th anniversary meeting in Tokyo featured updates on genetic studies, including polyglutamine repeats and RVCD sequencing. Data blitz sessions highlighted research from participating sites.
